Bonito
Bonito is a tiny town, with one parade of shops and some unusual telephone boxes!
The weather perked up upon our arrival, so we were able to enjoy river snorkelling in crystal clear waters. We also spent a day relaxing at a park, where we had a huge barbeque (which the emus were very interested in), and a competitive beach volleyball tournament!
Bonito was also our first encounter with Brazilian shops and restaurants. With the exception of flip flops, everything is very expensive here… More than prices at home! A bit of a shock after cheap Bolivia!
We have no photographic evidence, but we tried some caiman here too. It was pretty tasty!
