Noosa and Brisbane

Noosa is a very well presented large town where we met up with an ex-swimming coach of Olly’s called Julie and her husband Ian. Similarly to other friends we had meet up with on this trip, we quickly became envious of their location in the world and were really spoilt with hospitality. We went to a national park with Julie and took a quick dip in the sea before heading to a lookout for a beautiful sunset with a cool tinny and some chippies!

Brisbane was the final stop of our driving tour. It was another sporty city with a well organised, pedestrian-friendly centre. We explored the new and pretty south bank area, the botanical gardens and a great farmers market where we stocked up for the up coming train journey to Sydney. We also visited a bell tower for city views, it turns out the bells were made in Loughborough (where Soph and Olly met), ahhh.
