Sydney
Sydney is a very clean, young, exciting city which seemingly has everything important on its doorstep to make it a great place to live. We really enjoyed our short visit too!
We stayed in the district of Cameray which gave us a reason to cross the huge Harbour Bridge a few times. This and the Opera House are arguably Australia’s most iconic structures and we could see why.
We caught up with 3 groups of friends who had (understandably) left the UK to live here: Chrissie, Sam+Fizz and Joel+Amy. It was wonderful to catch up with them all and also discover their areas of CBD, Bondi and Manly beaches.
After absorbing the views the Opera house we felt the best way to see more was to see a show there. We were lucky with ticketing and got a free tour with excellent seats for ‘South Pacific’. We only recognised some of the songs but we really enjoyed it with some great performances, fantastic live orchestra and of course, the beautiful setting.
Sydney was also our final destination in Australia and this continent. Next stop, Asia. Starting with Hong Kong and working in China!

A pretty special place to go for a swim.
