Hong Kong
Hong Kong has to be one of the most populated cities we have ever been to, with skyscrapers as far as the eye can see. The harbour view of the skyline is spectacular, especially at night, when the buildings light up and the laser show is in full swing.
We soaked up the views – we snuck into the Marco Polo for sunset views and cocktails. We battled through the crowds to haggle in the night markets and tried out some street food. We relaxed in Kowloon park, and rose up the easy escalators which climb the steep hillside of Hong Kong Island. We even attended a Chinese opera show!
We also headed out of town, to the peaceful ‘Big Buddha’, where we were treated to a free noodle lunch after our walk to the top!
