Puerto Princesa

We spent our full day in Puerto at Honda Bay, island-hopping. All was going well until we were told we would have to rush our last two stops due to an incoming typhoon. It was a small one though, so the only signs were higher winds and some growing waves.

We stopped at three islands, the first of which, Starfish Island, was the best. The waters were clear and the snorkelling was fantastic – there were so many fish! We spent a long time in the water, trying to chase some fish down for a photo, while others swam straight into our camera to try to scare it off. Afterwards, we checked out some of the random sculptures on the beach, before tucking into a tasty fish BBQ and salad. Sophie had a little cry knowing our boat trip back to shore would be the last of our trip 🙁
